This tour of the day – getting to know Georgia and its first capital Mtskheta. Otherwise called the second Jerusalem by the number and importance of Christian temples. We’ll see cathedrals of Svetitskhoveli and Samtavro, and, of course, visit Jvari Monastery. Then, we continue the journey to the Shida Kartli region, the city of Gori, see Goristsikhe, where you can visit the house - museum of Stalin, and of course, the final part of the tour shall be the visit the cave - rock city of the first millennium BC – Uplistsikhe, where, we offer a tasting of Georgian wine and chacha, prepared by the so-called "homemade method", the first of three methods of Georgian winemaking.

 

 

A Bit of Information.

Please note that wherever you will go together with our guides, the entrance fee is included in the price of the day tour. The only exception is House-Museum of Stalin. We do not include it in the obligatory schedule of the day because of the ambiguous perception and odious nature of this grand historical place. Some would want to visit it, and some will be against it. That’s why we encourage you to decide for yourself, and purchase the tickets only if you wish to enter. Please note that in this case the guide service inside the museum will be provided at no extra cost. The entrance fee is 15 GEL.
